Wisconsin Wedding Photographer | Elkhart Lake Wedding | The Osthoff Resort | Kaylee & Erik
Kaylee and Erik met online and found out that they attended the same college! When they first started to date, they went hiking in the UW-Madison arboretum. They enjoyed hiking together and hiked together in many states! Five years later during peak fall, Erik got down on one knee and proposed to Kaylee at the arboretum's gazebo!
The two tied the knot during peak spring at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI. Their wedding palette consisted of blush, sage, and pastel orange to complement the cherry blossoms. There was a chance of rain their whole wedding day, but they decided to chance it and chose to do their ceremony outdoors. The rain held off for them until after family portraits! We all waited out the rain under the gazebo they just tied the knot in and we took more photos to document their love as soon as the rain stopped.
We went back inside after portraits with the cherry blossoms and the lake to visit the resorts coffee shop. Kaylee and Erik first met at a Collectivo coffee shop and the resort offered Collectivo coffee! I love hearing how love stories blossom! We took a few portraits with the coffee and then continued into the reception to celebrate the newly weds!
