A Romantic Vineyard Summer Wedding in Chicagoland at Providence Vineyard

This winter has been brutal... Our family has gotten sick more times than I can count this winter. We have been in and out of urgent care for infections/illnesses and this week we are getting over the stomach flu.. But this Monday the weather was nearly 70 degrees and I spotted robins in our yard! So there is some hope and lots of excitement for spring is just around the corner and before we know it, it will be wedding season again!


We are just beyond excited to capture so many love stories this year! In the meantime, I have been looking back on summer wedding days that we photographed and the wedding I am sharing today with you was such a breath of fresh air!


Abby and Matt's vineyard summer wedding took place at one of our favorite venues in the Chicagoland area! Providence Vineyard provides endless acres of the most gorgeous vineyards where you can set up your ceremony right in between! At the time of Abby and Matt's wedding, the grapes were just about ripe and a beautiful purple hue.


The reception festivities took place inside Providence Vineyard's venue where you are welcomed by an open naturally lit space with chandeliers making it the perfect space to celebrate with those who matter most. With being so close to a beautiful backdrop, we snuck out with the bride and groom to catch the sunset (gosh I cannot wait for summer sunsets!) and it was a sunset we will never forget!
